1. Sedona, AZ

Bucket List activities: Sedona is home to amazing trails and outdoor recreation, for a list of their secret hiking trails, vistas, and picnic locations visit Sedona's Secret 7. @m10penny enjoyed some off-highway vehicle adventures during his time among the red rocks on Outlaw Trail and rented at the Sedona Offroad Center.


2. Grand Canyon National Park

Inarguably breathtaking, the Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World and Arizona’s most visited attraction. Stretching 277 miles from end to end, the canyon’s rock walls descend more than a mile to the Colorado River below.

Bucket List itinerary stop number 2 continues on a 2-hour drive north to the Grand Canyon National Park's south rim. Accommodations are available inside the park or in the nearby city of Tusayan at properties like the newly renovated, family-owned and operated Red Feather Lodge.

3. Monument Valley Tribal Park

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is located on the Navajo Nation—one of the largest American Indian tribes. This rich-hued, sacred territory expands between Arizona and Utah and has been made famous by film-making moguls depicting the dramatic landscapes of the iconic Old West.

Bucket List itinerary stop number 3 the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park a 2.5-hour drive from the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. Accommodations are available on both sides of the park in Arizona or Utah.

4. Lake Powell, Page, AZ

Straddling the Arizona-Utah border, the 186-mile Lake Powell is America’s second-largest man-made reservoir and features nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline, 96 major side canyons, sapphire blue water, and towering red sandstone cliffs, buttes, and sandy beaches. Bucket List itinerary stop number 4 just a short 2-hour drive from Monument Valley. *Lake Powell is a 4.5-hour drive from Phoenix.

Bucket List activities: Rainbow Bridge, a National Monument, one of the largest known National Arches in the world, can be reached via houseboat, powerboat or on a scenic day boat tour. Other day boat tours to iconic sites include the Antelope Canyon Tour, the Canyon Adventure Boat Tour, Panoramic Lake Powell tour, the Canyon Princess Dinner Cruise or Wilderness River Adventures/Horseshoe Bend Rafting excursions down the Colorado River. Horseshoe Bend is a 10miles drive from the resort and part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, made famous by Instagram it is a beautiful overlook of the Colorado River. @m10penny suggests a pontoon boat launching from Wahweap Marina and the views at Horseshoe Bend.


5. Don't Forget a 'Welcome to Arizona' Sign Photo-op
