Museum of Northern Arizona
The Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA) is a private, nonprofit, educational institution founded in 1928 by a group of Flagstaff citizens to protect and preserve the natural and cultural heritage of northern Arizona through research, collections, conservation, and education. It's evolved into a regional center of learning with collections, exhibits, educational programs, publications, and research projects that serve thousands of people each year.
The Museum of Northern Arizona sits at the base of the San Francisco Peaks, on homelands sacred to Native Americans throughout the region. We honor their past, present, and future generations, who have lived here for millennia and will forever call this place home.
