Come one, come all! Mesquite Weekend is taking place SUNDAY, March 30th at Veteran's Park in Golden Valley, Arizona.


It will be a fun day filled with gardening and conservation speakers, native desert foods, kids games, a free seed exchange, and lots of vendors with everything from food, plants and trees to soaps, crochet clothing, and information about keeping our properties looking good while being good stewards of the lands we live on.


Lunch will be the miracle, drought-resistant desert tepary beans with avocado, cilantro, and green onion garnish with a side of mesquite cornbread. Yum!
Only want food? Order your bowl for only $25. Thinking you might be thirsty and snacky? Grab a BRILLIANT ticket for only $45 and enjoy lunch, a refreshing prickly pear lemonade in a custom Mason jar, AND snacks every hour. Now, that's a good deal!


Prickly pear lemonade will be offered all day.
Bring your own glass $5 - That's right. Bring your own reusable cup/glass you'll get some refreshing prickly pear lemonade for only $5. Show your commitment to the planet by not using styrofoam or paper.
Reusable Mason jar $10 - Forgot your cup? No worries! We'll have custom Mesquite Weekend Mason jars on hand for your refreshing beverage.


Snacks include: mesquite chocolate, mesquite cookies, and mesquite graham crackers. Every hour a new snack will be offered for those that purchase a Snack ticket for $20 or a BRILLIANT ticket for $45.


Eat some good food, buy some cute things, bring some seeds/plants/trees, take some seeds/plants/trees, learn something new, and enjoy community with like-minded folks.
