One of the most anticipated events in Fountain Hills is set to return as the 51st Annual Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts takes place February 21–23, 2025. The festival, hosted along the Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro, will once again transform the downtown into a vibrant outdoor gallery featuring over 400 artists, craftspeople and culinary delights from across the country.
For more than five decades, the Fountain Festival has been a staple of the community, drawing thousands of visitors who come to browse an eclectic mix of handcrafted artwork, from fine paintings and sculptures to intricate jewelry, pottery, and textiles. The event offers something for everyone, whether art collectors, casual shoppers, or families looking for a fun weekend outing.
Beyond the art, the festival will feature food vendors, the VFW beer garden with live music, a caricature artist, a live muralist demonstration and overall a diverse selection and immersive experience for attendees. From gourmet bites to classic festival favorites, the culinary lineup will cater to all tastes.
“The Fountain Festival is more than just an art fair - it’s a community festival - a celebration of creativity, community, and the small-town charm that makes Fountain Hills special,” said a Mary Davidsson, life-long resident of Fountain Hills and the events coordinator for the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event. “We’re excited to welcome both longtime festival goers and first-time visitors to experience the incredible talent on display.”
The event is free to attend, making it an accessible and inviting experience for all. Guests are encouraged to spend the day strolling through the booths, meeting artists, and supporting small businesses that thrive in the festival setting.
This year, you also have the opportunity to sponsor an emerging artist through the H.E.A.R.T. (Helping Emerging Artists and Rising Talent) Grant, a program designed to support and uplift new talent in the Fountain Festival community. Sponsorships help provide artists with booth space, membership, and exposure, ensuring the next generation of creatives has a platform to begin showcasing their work.
Festival road closure will be in place from Thursday, February 20th through Sunday, February 23rd. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Free parking will be available throughout the downtown area.
