Geminids Meteor Shower Watch Party

Dec 13th

  • Time7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
A sight for sore eyes! The town of Fountain Hills is partnering with Night Sky Tourist Star Dudes and the Fountain Hills Dark Sky Association to host a watch party for the upcoming annual Geminids meteor shower on the evening of Dec. 13 at Four Peaks Park.
Bring your chairs, blankets, warm layers for a night of stargazing under beautiful, moonlit skies. To keep guests warm during the chilly night, attendees can purchase hot chocolate bombs and other sweet treats from the Swette Ice Cream Truck.
Interested in learning more about our solar system? NASA Solar System Ambassador Ted Blank, Night Sky Tourist founder Vicky Derksen and the Star Dudes will give various presentations on topics such as history of the Geminids, meteors, telescopes and more.
