Stray Cat proudly concludes season 23 with a distinctly Stray Cat approach to a beloved favorite - the camp-tastic sci-fi classic musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. This production promises even more of the humor you’re used to - just with a decidedly more adult edge. This production will also lean into the ‘horror’ and hopefully land darker than past revivals - a ghoulish, yet undeniably hilarious - nightmarish descent into violence and the monstrous hunger for validation.
Some monsters are born. Others are just waiting to bloom.

The characters are the same. The songs are the same. But the show won’t be. We have watched this long-time favorite on local stages for decades and accrued a whole rolodex of thoughts in the vein of, “…what would happen if we did a production Stray Cat style?” Welp. Time to find out! We’re about to do everything we can to put the ‘horrors’ back into the little shop y’all know and love.
Please be aware the show contains adult language and situations and comic depictions of over-the-top gore. Often this is a show that is considered family friendly - but we would exercise caution and strongly encourage treating this production as at the very least PG-13.
