Public Art & Murals Tour with Wine Tasting

Sep 21st

  • Hours5:30pm to 8:30pm
  • Admission$65.00
Recent years have seen an explosion of public art throughout Tucson. This tour, led by tour guide Dorothy Yanez, begins at the Presidio Museum and proceeds into the downtown area, stopping at numerous public art pieces and murals. At each stop you will learn about the artist and the artwork. Several new murals have been added to the tour route since Dorothy began giving these tours. The tour is approximately two miles and includes stops south of Congress Street. Dorothy will be on a microphone for better hearing.
At the end of the tour, visitors will enjoy a tasting of local and regional wines at St. Cruz Bar at the new Leo Kent Hotel, an urban boutique hotel with a contemporary mix of vintage, Southwestern accents and cozy charm. This is the last stop on the tour, so attendees are welcome to stay for a glass of wine (at your own cost) after the tasting, or walk over to Pearly Baker Fermentables two blocks away to purchase a bottle of what you've just tasted.
