Many people consider the 1960s and 70s a time of experimentation. Artists were experimenting with new styles – op art, pop art, surrealism, minimalism – and recording artists were experimenting with new sounds. Album covers became a new canvas to explore. Fine artists, musicians, and album cover designers all strove to put a new spin on their respective works. This talk will explore some of the most iconic and influential cultural expressions of the era. TMA Docent: Jane-Lyn Trapp
