Scottsdale Fashion Square Trees for Hope Charity Art Exhibit
Nov 14th – Dec 4th
- Time6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
A magical scene will unfold within Scottsdale Fashion Square this holiday season. During a kick-off event at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the shopping center, in partnership with Modern Luxury Scottsdale, will reveal Trees for Hope, a collection of spectacular 7.5-foot holiday trees and opulent wreaths that shoppers can bid to take home, decking their own halls while benefitting the Hope Fund at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The stunning collection – 16 trees and five wreaths – showcases the best of elegant seasonal décor using pre-lit artificial 7.5-foot trees and wreaths as the canvas. Each tree is a display of its own with 360 degrees of thoughtfully curated décor, including toppers, ornaments, skirting, ribbons, garland, fabrics and fillers, as well as home decor items and gift boxes to create a complete holiday vignette. Not to be outdone, the wreaths lend a comparable level of seasonal style suitable for smaller spaces.
“Each holiday season, shoppers across the region count on Scottsdale Fashion Square as a premiere destination where they can find the perfect gifts for everyone on their list, as well as stylish accessories for home décor and entertaining,” said Melanie Sutton, Senior Marketing Manager. “This year we’re elevating the holiday experience with a stunning collection that not only offers plenty of festive inspiration, but also invites shoppers to join us in the spirit of giving as we support Phoenix Children’s.”
Designed by accomplished local retailers, artists, florists and interior decorators, the exhibit intertwines joy, creativity and philanthropy. Proceeds from the event will support the Hope Fund at Phoenix Children’s, a fund dedicated to helping to provide critical new programs, purchase essential equipment, conduct cutting-edge research and ensure that every child who needs treatment receives it.
“An event like Trees for Hope is such a gift because it invites people to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit while providing them with an opportunity to give back in a creative way,” said Tim Harrison, Vice President, Corporate Partnerships & Special Events at Phoenix Children’s. “We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Scottsdale Fashion Square and Modern Luxury Scottsdale to support the Hope Fund and all of the families it benefits.”
Shoppers will be able to view and bid on these enchanting trees and wreaths throughout the West and South Luxury Wings until Wednesday, Dec. 4. Then, during an exclusive Jingle & Mingle celebration, judges will announce and present prizes with a celebratory toast to the winning designers.
Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges in two classes (trees and wreaths) across several categories, including Best in Show, Most Creative and Best Theme. People’s Choice awards will also be presented. Winning bidders will be contacted to make delivery arrangements between Thursday, Dec. 5, and Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Trees for Hope is part of the Haute Holiday Collective, a series of festive events planned for the shopping center this holiday season. Other special holiday events include an exciting new Signature Santa Experience, as well as returning favorites, including Holiday Meet and Greets with beloved characters, the beloved Angel Tree program in partnership with Salvation Army, and an array of seasonal life music performances.
