Sedona’s Annual Lunar New Year Festival

The Korean American Association of Northern Arizona (KAANA) is proud to host the 12th Annual Lunar New Year Festival, Sedona’s Asian cultural festival, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 340 Jordan Road, Sedona, AZ. This free event brings together the beauty of diverse traditions to welcome the Year of the Wooden Snake.

Event Highlights:

- Traditional Korean dances and vibrant lion dance performances.

- TaeKwondo and Korean Qigong demonstrations with audience participation.

- Korean traditional games and live calligraphy reading sessions.

- Screening of the Oscar-winning film Minari. This acclaimed 2020 film tells the heartfelt story of a Korean-American family pursuing their American dream on an Arkansas farm, capturing themes of resilience, family, and cultural identity.

- Delicious Asian snacks and treats.

The Wooden Snake symbolizes wisdom, transformation, and resilience—an inspiring theme for this unique celebration of culture and community.
