On Saturday evening, December 7, the Sharlot Hall Museum will host its annual "Frontier Christmas," offering visitors a nostalgic glimpse back in time with festive holiday activities. Running from 6pm to 8:30pm, the event invites families to immerse themselves in a Territorial-style celebration complete with complimentary hot cider, cookies, and a variety of engaging activities for all ages.

Visitors will experience a unique blend of history and holiday cheer as Living History interpreters bring Prescott's storied past to life within the museum's historic buildings. A special appearance by Father Christmas will delight guests of all ages, offering the chance to meet him in the Transportation Building and receive a festive treat in return.

Attendees can tap into their creative spirits with Victorian-inspired Christmas crafts, a perfect way for both the young and old to partake in the season's magic. Projects include hand-crafted wreaths, and 3D snowflakes, among other holiday decorations. There will also be live music from the Phoenix Pioneer Band.

The Museum Store, nestled within the elegant Bashford House, provides shoppers with an extensive array of gifts. Whether it's a book on Arizona history, handmade jewelry, museum merchandise, or traditional craft kits, there's something for everyone to complete their holiday shopping list.

The evening of festivities begins right after the Courthouse Lighting Ceremony, with entry accessible at the main gate for cash, card, and museum members. A separate entrance on McCormick Street accommodates cash-only patrons and members. Event entry concludes at 8:15pm, with the event wrapping up at 8:30 pm.
