SEPTEMBER IS PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS MONTH! Come Walk with Us at our TWO-MILE 15th Annual Tim Barber Walk for POP Prostate On-Site Project! On September 28th, 2024, at Tempe Kiwanis Park, hundreds of Arizonans will join their friends and neighbors in the seventh annual Walk for POP, highlighting National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. The event is dedicated to the memory of Tim Barber, a Tempe police detective who was tragically lost to prostate cancer at an unusually early age. Our annual festive, educational walk raises awareness of the importance of early detection of prostate cancer; as well, celebrates prostate cancer survivors, and honors those whose lives have been lost to the disease.
