In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Heritage Series hosts an evening on the Story of the Native American Hoop Dance with Terry and Michael Goedel of N8tive Hoop. The Goedel's have a rich history as hoop dancers, including being featured with BYU Living Legends, the 2002 Winter Olympics and Cirque Du Soleil. They also have competed and performed all over the world. Come learn the origins and meanings of this beautiful Native American tradition on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Mesa Temple Visitors’ Center, 455 E. Main St., at 7 p.m.
