The Tucson Festival of Books, named one the nine best literary festivals in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, returns to the University of Arizona campus the weekend of March 15-16. This year’s event features more than 300 presentations, panels and workshops. More than 330 presenters will take the stage—70 of them Arizona-based, including Kevin Fedarko, recipient of this year’s Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction, and National Book Award finalist Violet Duncan.

Presenters represent a wide range of genres from fiction to history, children’s to culinary, science to romance, mystery to poetry, current events to environment, sports to sci-fi, history to humor.

The festival footprint includes an area for children's and teens presentations and a hands-on experience in Science City. The National Park Experience Pavilion brings parks from across America to the people with interactive opportunities and takeaways. More than 260 exhibitors offering books and reading-related merchandise for sale will line the university mall, along with food vendors from this UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
