On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Tucson’s companion animals will take to the streets for the 4th annual Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade and Friends of PACC Festival. In addition to hundreds of animals of all sizes and shapes, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and farm pets, the Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade will showcase bands, floats, entertainers, costumed characters, cool vehicles, and other entertainments. One of Tucson’s most unique events, the Parade, is produced by Friends of Pima Animal Care Center to raise awareness and financial support for animal lifesaving programs at Pima Animal Care Center.

The Parade takes place 10:00am – 11:30am, followed by the Friends of PACC Festival along 7th Street, featuring live entertainment, HSL Properties Adoption Extravaganza, a large vendor fair, and fun activities for people and pets alike. The Festival runs until 2:00pm.

People are encouraged to join the fun with their pets while supporting homeless and vulnerable animals in the community. To join the Parade, participants are asked to raise $50 or more, with all funds supporting animal lifesaving programs at PACC, the largest and only open-admission shelter in Pima County. Kids 17 & under can register for free with their families, making the Parade a fun outing for the whole family, fur babies and all. Businesses, schools, and service organizations are encouraged to join the Parade as well, either by hosting a team or float.

This year, the Parade is partnering with other local animal welfare non-profit organizations to raise More 4 All Animals. Animal welfare non-profits are invited to fundraise for their organization by having a team in the Parade. Working together, the Parade can help raise more support to save animals, whether they are at PACC or other shelters/rescues across Pima County.
