Segway of Scottsdale
7330 E Earll Dr Scottsdale, Arizona 85251
Head to the Phoenix metro’s hub of fine dining, high-end shopping and luxury resorts.
Scottsdale is a place where visitors valet their vehicles, linger over multi-course meals and play golf courses as pretty as any on the planet. In fact, more golf courses are concentrated in Scottsdale than any other location in the state. Visitors enjoy the area’s creative energy always on display at local galleries, boutiques, eateries and attractions.
Scottsdale boasts more than 100 art galleries, many clustered in the Scottsdale Arts District in Old Town. Visitors can attend weekly ArtWalks on Thursday nights when galleries stay open late and artists are on hand to discuss their work. Just strolling around town reveals Scottsdale’s creative nature. The public art scene presents more than 100 permanent murals and sculptures that capture the city’s creative energy. At Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, visitors see cutting-edge exhibits from regional and national talents. At Museum of the West, traditional artworks depict the wonders of the Southwest. The area even inspired Frank Lloyd Wright to build his winter home and studio here. Taliesin West offers tours of the architectural wonder that continues to train the next generation of architects.
Scottsdale Fashion Square is a massive mall experience with a punch list of the world’s most prestigious retailers. Plan at least half a day to see all three levels of luxury brands. Find more specialty boutiques at the shops of neighboring Old Town Scottsdale, which presents a delightful mix of chic brands and historic storefronts. In north Scottsdale, Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter offer open-air shopping experiences with nearly 200 more high-end stores. Scottsdale is also renowned for its local eateries, which pop up throughout the shopping districts to keep visitors energized with fancy coffee drinks and dishes as pretty as they are tasty.
Many vacations to Scottsdale revolve around the area’s luxury resorts, which include a who’s who of brands such as the Ritz, Four Seasons and Caesars. Sink into top-notch service and amenities, including on-site golf courses and chef-driven restaurants. Continue the pampering with drinks and snacks at poolside cabanas, join a sunrise or sunset yoga class or schedule a spa treatment at some of the best destination spas in the country. With more than 50 luxury resort and day spas in the area, visitors don’t have to go far for a massage, a soak or a wrap.
