Valley-area casinos offer elevated experiences that go far beyond the action of slots and table games. With state-of-the-art concert venues, five-star dining, spas, golf, concierge services and more, you’ll find yourself basking in 24-hour amenities at these eight casino resorts.
Upscale Dining

Nothing goes better with casinos than high-end steakhouses, and the intimate Cholla Prime Steakhouse and Lounge at Casino Arizona in Scottsdale is a perfect example. From classic favorites like shrimp cocktail and filet mignon to elk tenderloin and vegetarian risotto, the chefs cook up regional cuisine to please any palate. Cholla Prime was named the #1 steakhouse in Arizona by "Business Insider" in 2023, and in 2025, it received the Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRōNA) Award of Excellence.
Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Santan Mountain in Chandler bills its Honey + Vine restaurant concept as “upscale but approachable.” With some menu items incorporating ingredients sourced from the Gila River Indian Community, the lineup features an eclectic selection of appetizers and sides that pair nicely with traditional fare such as steaks, chops, prime rib and seafood.
Championship Golf
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Fort McDowell offers two 18-hole courses that amplify the Son oran Desert setting —no homes, roads or development, just sweeping mountain views. If you’re looking for a target-style test, tee it up at Cholla. For a traditional layout that winds through Arizona’s most iconic cactus, the aptly named Saguaro course is your ace in the hole (no matter what your scorecard looks like at the end of the round). "Golfweek" named Saguaro Arizona’s best public-access golf course in 2025.
At Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino in Maricopa, Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club offers a championship Australian Sand Belt-style course originally developed as a private club. Its unique layout, impeccable conditioning and world-class customer service earns Southern Dunes a spot on many golfers’ bucket lists — not to mention high rankings from "Golf Magazine." In the mood for golf after dark? #miniDunes is a six-hole course illuminated at night with 88 LED light fixtures.
Luxe Spas

Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale makes the most of its 200-foot-tower views by placing its spa and wellness center in an open-air space on the 14th floor. Beyond soaking in the scenery, guests can book relaxing treatments such as massage therapy, body wraps, facials and mani-pedis, then spend a little time in the eucalyptus steam room. After a workout, take a dip in the pool or grab lunch and a cocktail.
The Aji Spa at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass prides itself on its Indigenous-inspired spa services. These include the Ho’ishp, which starts with an application of prickly pear red clay and finishes with a 50-minute full-body massage using prickly pear and aloe oil, or the Nahtogig, a treatment that uses local ingredients like honey and blue cornmeal — meant to symbolize elements of a sunset or a sandstorm — to exfoliate and nourish the skin.
Live Entertainment
Located in the heart of Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District, Desert Diamond Casino West Valley offers acres of non-gaming fun. In 2022, it secured the naming rights to Desert Diamond Arena and catapulted the casino’s entertainment cred to the next level. In addition to concerts featuring top-name music headliners, this 19,000-seat venue hosts everything from PBR bull-riding events, monster truck rallies and “Disney on Ice” to Arizona Rattlers Indoor Football League games.
The Showroom at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass brings a steady rotation of Las Vegas-style entertainment to the Valley, including popular comedians like Lewis Black, Trevor Noah and Jeff Dunham as well as music legends like John Fogerty, Kool & the Gang and Patti LaBelle. It’s a great place to catch live acts, where every seat feels close to the action — no more than 75 feet from the stage.
