Thirty-three miles (or about 40 minutes) east, with little fanfare and lots of dedication, Atsuo Sakurai makes some of the best sake outside of Japan in the small town of Holbrook. Don't believe us? Arizona Sake, Sakurai's brand, was awarded the title "World's Best Sake Made Outside Japan" at Tokyo's Sake Competition in 2018.
